Meet the Team Behind SwimBuddy Pro
SwimBuddy Pro is brought to life by a passionate team of swimmers and coaches:
• Mariusz Smenżyk, a dedicated Total Immersion Assistant Coach, has contributed over 500 kilometers to his swim journey and actively participates in Total Immersion group sessions and open-water camps. His experience with the Total Immersion method under the guidance of mentor Paweł Lewicki has shaped his vision to help swimmers improve their performance.
• Witold Musiał, a Total Immersion Coach, personal trainer, and nutritionist, brings a wealth of experience from years of long-distance swimming, endurance sports, and personal coaching. From competing in ultra-marathons and Ironman events to achieving multiple podium finishes in endurance swim competitions, Witold’s journey exemplifies dedication and expertise in sports. His accomplishments include a 30 km open-water swim in July 2024 and an impressive 44 km pool swim in March 2024.
Together, they are committed to making SwimBuddy Pro a world-class training tool that supports swimmers on their path to improvement.
Looking Ahead: What’s Next?
With the first prototype successfully tested, we’re excited to announce the next steps for SwimBuddy Pro:
• Expanded Testing: Our team plans to conduct extensive testing with more users to gather feedback and refine the device further.
• Enhanced Features: Based on initial feedback, we’re adding features like Bluetooth connectivity, custom training program uploads, and real-time head-movement tracking. These updates will provide a more comprehensive experience for swimmers aiming to analyze and improve their technique.
